Chemist by training, Jean-Luc Lambotte is a lover of haute cuisine. Falling into the pot from an early age, he has never stopped trying to perfect himself in the original and unique gastronomy that made his success. His first restaurant, the Auberge de Houyoux (from 1993 to 2002) allowed him to acquire his letters of nobility and the recognition of his peers, becoming a member of prestigious association of gastronomy. It is at the "Pauline Gardens" that he perfects his cuisine and imagines the concept he will implement in his restaurant "Gastronomy of the Mayeur" in 2006. Jean-luc Lambotte obtained 15/20 with the gastronomy of the Mayeur at Gault et Millau and is one of the 33 masterchefs of Belgium.
